Die Geschichte von Calibra reicht bis ins Jahr 2001 zurück, als sie sich entschieden, gemeinsam mit tiermedizinischen Fachleuten ein neues Sortiment an Trockenfutter zu entwickeln. Ziel war es, Hundehaltern und Züchtern ein qualitativ hochwertiges Futter aus natürlichen Zutaten anzubieten, das sich auch für Tiere mit Nahrungsmittelallergien und Verdauungsproblemen eignet.
Die Entwicklung war im Jahr 2004 abgeschlossen und das erste Granulat-Trockenfutter für Hunde wurde auf den Markt gebracht. Seit 2004 erweitern und verbessert Calibra ihr Produktsortiment ständig.
Calibra berücksichtigt den individuellen Ernährungsbedarf von Tieren umfassend. Jede Rezeptur wird sorgfältig auf der Grundlage des physiologischen Bedarfs jeder einzelnen Ernährungskategorie ausgearbeitet. Jede Rezeptur wird vor dem Hintergrund gemachter Erfahrungen entwickelt und ständig auf Basis der neuesten Informationen und Ernährungsbedürfnisse verbessert.

Feeding recommendation
A complete dietary feed. Low in mono- and disaccharides. It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before use or before extending the feeding period. Recommended feeding period for diabetes mellitus: initially up to six months. To reduce obesity: until target weight is reached and as required to maintain target weight. Offer water for free intake. Offer the food dry or slightly moistened. The recommended daily amounts can be found in the feeding table. In order to achieve efficient weight loss or to maintain an ideal weight, the recommended daily energy intake should not be exceeded.
